Divergent

I have just joined this amazing linky over at Mama Mummy Mum‘s blog were you have to write about what story   you have been reading.

Lately I have been reading Divergent by Veronica Roth.  Divergent is about a girl called Tris and when she is sixteen she has to choose out of five factions: Abnegation for the selfless, Candor for the honest, Amity for the peaceful, Dauntless for the brave, and Erudite for the knowledgeable. Tris goes for Dauntless faction. While she is training in the Dauntless faction she falls in love with one of her trainers known as Four.

I really liked this book and found it exciting, sad and funny. But I think it would be a little bit better if it wasn’t so negative sometimes. I am definitely looking forward to the film. It is a great book for teens and preteens like myself. It is a little bit similar to The Hunger Games.

I took this photo when I was out for a walk round our village with my family during the autumn.  It was the first time I’d really taken pictures of flowers but once I started I found it hard to stop.  When I grow up I’d love to be a professional photographer.

Writing Horror Stories

I love writing and reading and I think I am good at both as well.  When I do write I love to write letters and stories.  But whenever I write a story it ends up being a horror story.  I love writing horror stories and they are definitely horror.  At the moment I am writing two horror stories and one children’s story.  The first horror story I am writing is called Forensic Scientists.  This one is about two best friends who are both forensic scientists and one gets murdered and the other one has to find out how he got killed.  The second one is called The Murderer.  This one is about a woman who comes back home and sees blood on the floor, she keeps following the blood that leads into the bathroom and see her husband has got a bleeding nose.  But all he says is that he tripped over and broke his nose.  The third one is called The Magic Caravan.  (This is not a horror story) This is about two girls that are best friends.  One lives in a normal house and the other lives in a small scruffy caravan.  When the other girl goes inside she faints because… The rest is a surprise.  Can you guess why she faints?

Christmas

Its not long until Christmas now and I have only got a few ideas of what I actually want.  When it is Christmas, instead of having a chocolate advent calendar, we have little Christmas stockings for each day with 6 sweets in, so we all get one each.  It is really fun.  

We have decided that this Christmas we are going to have a few little presents in our Christmas stockings and then we are going to wait till January and then we will get more stuff because most things in January have a sale.  And that means we will get more presents.

Giraffe in the Bath – Poem

Without a warning I got up one morning
I went downstairs and saw lots of hares
I went in the front room and saw a baboon
In the sink I saw mink
I ran back upstairs and saw some juggling bears
In my hat I saw a fantastically pink cat
There was a cow saying moo in the loo
And in the Bath was a gigantic giraffe
It said hello really slow
And I said I’m going back to bed!

Mushrooms

 

Lots of mushrooms!

I love mushrooms so much that whenever I see any I have to take a picture so when I saw these I was amazed. I have not ever seen this many mushrooms in one place before.

Mushrooms taste beautiful and look beautiful! But I would never eat ones or touch ones that I found, like these ones.
